Cicero Veterinary Clinic - Ellen K. Cook, DVM

The Team
Dr. Ellen K. Cook and Sophie Ellen K. Cook, D.V.M. or "Doc" as she prefers to be called, has been a small animal veterinarian since graduating from Purdue in 1975.   After working at another veterinary practice for ten years, she purchased the Cicero Veterinary Clinic and began her practice there in 1985.   Doc has always been interested in dog, cat, and avian behavior and offers consultation with clients whose pets have developed behavior disorders.   Check out her parrot behavior DVD at: www.companionparrotmedia.com
Erin Dakins Erin, licensed RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician), is the resident nurse at Cicero Veterinary Clinic. Erin has been on staff since 1987 and a valuable member of our team. She is the mother of four beautiful children, three daughters and one son, and has been married for four years to Brad, who is now serving his country in Iraq. Erin has also had years of experience providing care to countless fish, lizards, rabbits, birds, cats, and dogs. Her current passion is her alpacas. Erin's empathy with our clients and patients is unparalleled. Erin officially retired in November 2009. She and her husband, Brad, have become full-time farmers and spend their time caring for their family and menagerie in Parker City. We keep in touch and, although we miss her, we are happy that Erin is doing well!
Helena Helena is our office manager and has been serving our clients since 1993. Helena is the mother of two active boys - we don't know how she manages everything at the clinic and at home. Helena has a soft spot in her heart for long-haired dachshunds - she has three! She also has a sweet little chinchilla. Even though Helena's plate is full on occasion, she always has time for our clients.
Jill Neese Jill has been the Jill-of-All-Trades here at CVC since 1999. She is excellent with clients and patients alike. Jill lives with four wild and crazy dachshunds, a German shepherd dog and two cats. Jill keeps the clinic morale up with all her antics. Stop in and chat with Jill about your pet - she makes you feel right at home.
